Behind the Name

Thistlepaw was named Thistlekit based on her pale grey coat at birth. As she began to age the color of her pelt changed from a pale grey to a diluted brown. Though she is not the most exceptionally skilled apprentice, her passion and drive for protecting her clan gives her great standing among the rest.

Personality

Thistlepaw could be describe as your typical run of the mill warrior, but with a vivid imagination. She is a dreamer and a romantic, with her head always stuck in the clouds. While others as apprentices were dreaming of learning and surpassing all there is to know about training, her thoughts leaned more to family and finding true love. A girl can dream can't she?

Appearance

Thistlepaw is a brown tabby she-cat with a cream based pelt. She has vivid forest green eyes with a brilliant shade of yellow that rims them.

History

 "Thistlepaw, you must stop this, foolish dreaming!", yowled her mother, snapping the young feline out of her trance. The petite she-cat stared into blaring green orbs much like her own,  anger flaring in the eyes of her mother. "Dreaming?, What harm has it done?", the young apprentice would say, pacing in front of her frustrated mother. "Are you saying it's wrong to hope? To wonder about what could come of my life? What I want for myself? My dreams gives me-"

"Give you what?, A sense of comfort? That's foolish Thistlepaw", growled Tawnyfur as she circled around her daughter. "These dreams distract you, you are unfocused in your duties and everyone can see it!", she spat, seething with anger. "I did not raise you to be a fool, and you will not make one of me", she growl, staring back into her daughters eyes, noting the resentful look upon her face.


Thistlepaw shook her head, rising to her paws, turning away from her distraught mother, "You're wrong...dreams are what gives me hope, it serves as an escape for when the world can become so cruel. What could be so wrong in that?", Thistlepaw would plead, hoping her mother would understand reason. Tawnyfur would sigh, as she came to Thistlepaw's side, her tail resting on her shoulder. "One day you'll have to choose between these dreams and reality, and for you I fear, will be the hardest choice to make", her mother would say as she padded away from her, back inside camp. Thistlepaw could only shake her head, "That's never gonna happen", she sighed staring back into that peaceful bliss above. "You'll see", she smiled briefly as quickly trailed behind her.
