Appearance
With long, powerful legs and a wiry build Sageflower appears the epitome of a fit cat. Her strength has always been running, and in both endurance and speed does she boast talent. The feline's pelt is grey with white patches upon her nose, chest, right foreleg, left hind-leg, belly, and tail. Her eyes are a bright yellow and rest above a softly defined muzzle. Longer then average, her tail allows for agile maneuvering in the chase. Lastly, upon this little she-cat's left shoulder is a slender, pale, and pink scar.
History
As a young kit Sagekit's life was very average. She was always sensitive to critique, so when her father and mother split she took it personally. Had she done something wrong to make then angry? Was this a punishment for hiding that twig in the nursery? Of course it had nothing to do with her, but that didn't stop the little one from worrying.
Her apprentice days were fairly average. Mentored by Fawntail, Sagepaw quickly grew into a fast and powerful runner. Running also because somewhat of a stress reliever. She had a habit of working herself up over little things, and it always took a great deal of effort to calm her mind. Hunting, though, did not come naturally and it took her awhile to manage a clean kill without tripping over her own paws. Once when she was attempting to take down a rather large hare the creature turned around and fought back. The result was an empty stomach and a bleeding wound upon her left shoulder. She learned then to always pick her prey carefully, and to avoid fights she could not win.
After proving her skill in a final assessment Sageflight bore her warrior name proudly. It wasn't long till she received her first apprentice, a young tom named Mousepaw. Nearly as nervous as the she-cat herself, he was a perfect fit. Together they formed a strong bond. When he became Mousetail Sageflight was besides herself with joy and admiration, and to this day they still remain close friends.
When Amberstar retired to the elder's den and Eagleblaze was promoted to leader Sageflight was astonished to find herself picked as the next deputy. Astonished, that is, and overjoyed. A sense of purpose filled the feline, but so did fear. Now she would carry the weight of the clan upon her slender shoulders, but the task was made easier as she grew ever fonder of the fluffy she-cat she was to work with.
