{Applying for kit stats}

Nature has never allowed the parents to design their kittens, puppies, or babies. All young animals are a gift, even if they aren't exactly what you were hoping for. For the clan cats StarClan chooses what a litter will look like, and their health, based on the genes of their parents. 

•  All pregnant creatures are required to apply for the stats of their unborn children. To do this you simply fill out the form provide and wait for staff do reply with the stats. 

• Appearances and ailments are calculated based on a few factors. We will use a program as well as our own judgement and a set of dice to pick what would be best for each litter and the clans. 

• Be respectful of the staffs' decisions. Do not attempt to sway them with your own desires, and please resist all urges to argue your litter's stats. 

• The only way you can pick the stats of your litter is to buy the perks. 

• Make sure to be present on the due date of your litter. It would be pretty strange if the mother didn't show up to give birth to her own kits. If you miss your due date without giving a warning in advanced that the date needs to be changed then all your kits will be stillborn. 

• If you wish for your queen to die while giving birth then you must PM Grey or Spar. We will give you permission if the plea seems reasonable, and works with the current situation of the site. 

{After the Stats}

• Once a couple has received their kit stats they can then create an adoptable thread using the given tables. Kitten adoptables are to only be posted in the Kitten's for Sale board so that they stand out from other adoptables. Be sure to title the thread with the parent's names and something to do with kittens.

• Members are free to try to claim a kitten, but they must make sure they do so before the due date. Any kit who is not adopted before the given due date will be born stillborn. 

• Once you have claimed a kit, and the parents have accepted your claim, you are to immediately make an application for them in the applications board. Much of the information (such as history) may be unable to be filled out for a kitten, so these bios are expected to be very basic. Do this BEFORE the due date or you will loose your kitten.

•  DO NOT change the stats of your adopted kit in any way unless you buy a perk for it and talk to their parents. You can not give them a cold when they are born healthy, or magically heal a deformed leg. Eye color, pelt patterns, and pelt color are also to remain as specified. 

• You are allowed to pick a different photograph of your kit then the one staff have chosen, but you must find a cat that closely resembles the given image.

• The personalities are utterly up the person who adopts the kit. Remember, though, that children often take after their parents more so then we'd like to admit. 

• The parents have full control of their kittens' prefixes (but keep it within our rules). 

• All ailments given by StarClan do not need a perk in order to be played. If the staff gives a couple a kitten who is blind and a tortoiseshell tom then so be it.
