USER: Goldenfeather [/span][/div] Behind the Name Goldenfeather was named 'Goldenkit' because her pelt reminded her mother of the golden sun, and wanted to keep her name cheery, because although it seemd to the kits as if life was perfect, war was looming around them, at least in the older Warriors' minds. Her suffix was given because she was always able to run fast on land, and swim fast in the water of the rivers surrounding Riverclan.nbsp;
Personality Goldenfeather is a generally cheery cat, but usually only shows that side to good friends, well known clanmates, and the leader, deputy and medicine cat. When she's around other cats, she seems quiet and slightly miffed or angry at something. Her flaw is that she can react too harshly at some misgivings of others, or any statement made, whether good or bad. In battle, she gets mad, and fires an array of insults at the opposing clan, even if it was her clan that made a mistake first. Around apprentices and kits, she is normally nice, but not overly cheery, as she doesn't spend a lot of time with the younger ones. Even so, she would like to have a mate and kits of her own, although she would dread having too many. Appearance Goldenfeather is a golden cat with long fur, medium sized whiskers and green eyes. She is rather sleek in build and has some muscles under her fur. She is fast on land and in water, but her forte is water. When battling, she normally tries to use her speed instead of her muscles, but will use them if needed. History As a Riverclan kit, she was always playful and happy, but one day her father was killed in battle. Because of stress, a broken heart or because she recieved great injuries too, her mother went to the medicine cat den. Her sister fled, because she felt that Riverclan wasn't strong or tough enough to protect them. After having her family gone, Goldenfeather donned her usuall look; quiet, but miffed or angry. She still decided to be cheerful, because she felt that a few deaths shouldn't bring her down, but she still misses her sister. She still hates her for running away. Goldenfeather's belief is that cats die someday, and she couldn't believe that her sister didn't think the same. Goldenfeather grew up, though, without any regrets about the past. Her personality changes stayed, though. her mother died shortly after Goldenfeather became a warrior. Family Mother: Lilyfeather (partly, but not entirely where Goldenfeather got her suffix.) Dead. Father: Whitenose. He was always a truthful cat. Dead. Sister: Icekit. By now she should have been a Warrior, but she ran away as a kit. Status unknown. ((I don't plan on bringing her back.)) PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
To add a user, simply click on Preview to view what your code will look like. Then, after USER, simply click and type in your user name.
While the name Goldenfeather itself is fine the implication of the suffix 'feather' is for stealth. Any suffix given that has to do with fur would be 'fur' or 'pelt'.
This as well goes for her father; the suffix face is used to describe beauty, usually in a she-cat, not truthfulness. If you chose to make him a handsome cat however (maybe one popular among the she-cats?) that is fine.
Both her parents being dead in the same battle (especially when things have been peaceful for a long while in this role play) is highly unlikely. Perhaps her mother or father had been critically injured or crippled and left in the elders den however, while the other passed away? That seems more likely than two deaths at the same time. We try to stay away from tragic back stories here.
Please make the appropriate changes and the other admins will see to it if you have any questions.

Thank you for making several of the changes, but I'm afraid we still cannot accept Goldenfeather just yet because you've accidentally left one out. It may seem minor, but it would be unfair to let it pass when others have had to follow the guidelines exactly.
In the application it still says:

What this means is that "-feather" would be given to a cat because they had exceptional stalking abilities. If an apprentice had no obvious talents or personality traits then the leader would fall back on naming them based upon their appearance. If a pelt drifted in the wind (as I imagine all long haired cat's pelts do) and was soft then "-fur" or "-pelt" would symbolize that.
Here at The First Spark we use a "Liberal Traditional" naming guide. You can find a link to this guide in the rules, in the thread of important links, or in the thread explaining how to make an application. Many role play sites also require "Traditional" names because they make the role playing experience more akin to the first arc of the books. If you have a suggestion to make about a particular prefix or suffix please send a message to the tumblr page and wait for it to be reviewed.

I have no idea who this 'Kate' is of whom you speak.
In any case, this site does not belong, is managed by, or is any association with anyone by the name of 'Kate'.
This site is my property, as well as Grey and Spar's. We came up with the rules, and are not going by 'Kate's' standards. We go by the liberal naming guide, which is simple and comprehensive.
