Behind the Name

Swanstar's prefix Swan- was primarily due to her predominately white coat, and the brown markings on her face. Her suffix -face was easy enough, not only because of her exceptional physique, but because of her kind heart.

Personality

Swanstar is a confident and often overbearing she-cat, who will hardly take no for an answer. Her loyalty to her clan is almost obsessive, to the point that she won't even sleep. Sometimes her confidence goes to far, and she often gets over her head in the challenges she creates. Swanstar will start a fight as fast as she can if she thinks her, and her clan will benefit from it.

Even though she tries not to, sometimes she can let her more narcissistic side get to her, and she can be very condescending to others. She spends a lot of time keeping her fur clean, and she often dazzles others with her beauty. Don't let her appearance fool you though, she can be very formidable on the battle field.

Despite how intimidating she may seem, and how crazy she might get trying to do what she thinks is right, she can be very gentle and caring. She has a soft spot for kits, though she never had any of her own. She loves to take the time out of her day to go and visit the kits in the clan. Sometimes she will even help play pranks on other warriors if they convince her too. Her favorite thing to do is teach others, and often takes on apprentices when she can.

Appearance

Swanstar is a beautiful white she-cat with a brown, almost 'mask' like marking across her eyes. She has flecks of brown across her back, ending at her tail. She has a long soft looking pelt, that is most often clean, unless she is fully into planning a battle. Her large round eyes are a forest green. She has a lithe body frame under all of her fluff, and is very well toned. She is rather large for a she-cat, and is as tall as most toms.

History

Swanstar was born into Riverclan like most kits were, along with her two litter-mates. Even as a kit, she was aware of her exceptional beauty. Among the younger toms, she always used it to her advantage. As a kit, she made toms bring her food. When she became an apprentice she went hunting with the toms she took advantage of, and made them hunt for her. When her mentor found out about this, she was confined to the camp to help the elders.

As expected, she took this news like a spoiled brat, and hardly helped. After a half-moon of being stuck in the camp, she noticed some of the kits sneaking out. Not willing to let them get hurt, she followed them. A rouge wandering the territory found the kits, at the same time Swanpaw had caught up to them. She fought away the rouge and brought the kits back into camp. After bringing them back, she started to wholeheartedly help out in the nursery. Her mentor took her back to training, and she became a warrior a short while after her siblings.

The rest of her life was fairly normal, and she became a deputy after the previous had died from an infected wound from a border fight. The leader eventually died of green-cough leaving her to lead the clan on her own.

Role Play Sample

Swanstar padded through the reeds of the camp, her long fur brushing against the fronds. She walked with purpose towards 'Thunderclan' territory. "I cannot believe that they think that the sunning rocks are their territory!" She growled in a frustrated tone. Her deputy sighed lightly, looking at her in exasperation.
"Wouldn't it just be easier to let them have it? There isn't anything there for us." She mumbled at the white she-cat.
"Absolutely not! Thunderclan will surely take us giving up our territory as a sign of weakness!" Swanstar hissed back to the smaller cat. "We must take back what is ours!"
She leaped into the river, all of her warriors diving in behind her. She let out a furious hiss as she saw Thunderclan cats lounging on the flat rocks.
"Leave my territory before I have to make you" She threatened. The Thunderclan warriors just stared at her calmly.
"Whatever do you mean Swanstar?" a tom meowed in a smooth voice. "We are within our territory."
Swanstar lashed her furry tail, and her eyes narrowed in anger. "I won't give you another warning, get off of my territory!"
